My fascination with Rolfing

Rolfing is for me so fascinating because it attempts to understand and accept people with all their rough edges. I am touched by the life story of each client, whether he or she comes with "acute back pain," "bad posture" or a "general life crisis". Together with the client we look for a solution for his or her situation, using manual touch, verbal communication, new movements and experiences, feelings or other symbols.

How I discovered Rolfing

I first experienced Rolfing during my tango training and was thrilled. I benefit from improved balance, much better posture, smoother movements and a wonderful sense of freedom and well-being in my own body.

The collaboration with other Rolfers has allowed me to cope with the effects of a knife attack and subsequent operation. I have managed to overcome the physical difficulties and train my perception of myself and my surroundings, and thereby win back a sense of security and confidence in both my body and other people. The sustainability and effectiveness of Rolfing continues to impress me.

My background

I'm a doctor, Certified Advanced Rolfer™, Rolf Movement Practitioner™ and tango dancer. I studied Rolfing in Munich, Germany and Boulder, USA, and regularly attend continuing education workshops in Rolfing, Osteopathy and Craniosacral Osteopathy.
